Profil der Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research
Founded as Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in the year 1984, the institute runs under the patronage of Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust. In 2003, it received the status of a deemed University from the University Grants Commission, and has thereafter been known as Bharath University. Over the past couple of decades, the institute has emerged as one of the most well-known higher education institutes in South India.
